Who is Selfco?

Selfco Leasing is an established Australian equipment finance provider trading as a division of Auswide Bank. Selfco has operated nationally via a network of accredited finance brokers since 2003.

What does Selfco offer?

We provide a range of finance solutions to Australian businesses purchasing vehicles and equipment for use in their businesses.

Does Selfco offer consumer finance?

No, all finance provided by Selfco is for business purposes. Although we do not offer finance on goods for personal use, our parent company Auswide Bank offers a full range of lending and deposit products for personal use.

Will there be any changes as a result of the purchase of Selfco by Auswide Bank?

For our customers, we are committed to maintaining the high standards of service and support you have come to expect. We want to reassure you that there will be no immediate changes to the products and services you currently receive. In fact, this change will allow us to enhance our offerings and provide even greater value to you.

How do I apply?

Selfco Leasing operates exclusively via a network of accredited brokers. Speak to your finance or mortgage broker about applying for finance with Selfco.

Can I pay off my account early?

Yes, call us on 1300 12 11 10 to request a payout figure for your account. Be aware that the payout figure will be current until a certain date, after which it will need to be updated, so it is important to act quickly in order to maintain that payout figure. Please note that paying out a loan early may attract penalty costs.

What happens if I sell the goods?

Prior to selling the goods, you will need to contact us on 1300 12 11 10 to request a payout figure for your account.

How can I change my repayment details?

Please call us on 1300 12 11 10 to request a Direct Debit form. This will be emailed to you, and once completed can be returned to leasing@selfco.com.au. To ensure changes to the Direct Debit details are in place by your next repayment date, your request will need to be received by Selfco at least 2 working days prior to your repayment date.

If I have a credit impairment will Selfco still consider my finance application?

Yes, a credit impairment does not necessarily mean that finance will not be available from Selfco Leasing. Often, credit impairments on credit files are a result of smaller matters such as Telco defaults which may have been finalised but remain outstanding. For what might otherwise be a good credit application, where there is a default, it would be necessary to provide full details of the circumstances in order for Selfco to gain comfort around the impairment.

Can I move my monthly repayment date to a date that works better for me?

Yes, however, your account will need to be one month in advance for Selfco to be able to permanently change your repayment date.

How do I obtain a balance/statement for my loan?

A loan balance or statement can be obtained by emailing Selfco at leasing@selfco.com.au or by calling us on 1300 12 11 10. You will need to include your contract number in the email request or provide it when calling our office.

We are committed to providing you with great customer service and products. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to get in touch with us.
